Equality vs. Equity

Within Marxism, equality is more important that equity. Indeed Marxism assumes that equity is served only by equality. This means that the sluggard or indolent “deserves or is “entitled “to an equal share of the pie with the diligent and laborious. This embodies the principle, “from each according to his ability, to each according to his need.” (R. C. Sproul, The Consequences of Ideas P. 145.
