Peace Child Revisited
When I worked for Community Christian Ministries, many years ago a book about foreign missions came out. It was the story about a young family who went to New Guinea to work with head hunters and to share the Gospel with them for the first time. The book was called Peace Child. Well, its been fifty years since that visit began and the family was wondering how their friends were doing, so they planned a trip back to visit. You can see how the trip went here. Fifty years later, the results are pretty amazing and very cool. We do worship a God of peace and joy and who keeps his promises. If only the churches in our nation were doing as well after 50 years as these churches are doing.
For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life (Romans 5:10).
